An industrial icon on the shores of Sydney Harbour, the White Bay Power Station site is well-known (and well-loved!) by most Sydneysiders. In 2015, as part of the ambitious redevelopment of The Bays Precinct, the NSW Government called for development proposals for the power station and the surrounding waterfront sites.
As Bid Strategy & Communications Manager, working in collaboration with the agile bid team and core business units, my role was to craft a compelling, forward-thinking vision and articulate the bid-winning strategy for the project, along with project managing bid co-ordination and production. I was also responsible for managing the input of multiple consultants, including our creative and branding work.
The role also required designing and hosting multi-stakeholder workshops, strategic planning, research, client presentations, the crafting of key messages and communication briefs, copywriting, and project management to ensure the delivery of a highly-competitive proposal document.
