Ubud Food Festival: Strategic Communications & Management

Held annually in Ubud, Indonesia, the Ubud Food Festival celebrates the diverse and ever-evolving world of Indonesian cuisine and foodie culture, connecting hungry audiences from across Indonesia and the globe.

As Communications Manager, I was engaged to produce and manage the Festival’s communications, including strategy and project planning, branding, public relations and media campaign, communications partnerships, website and social media, app development, photography and videography art direction and production, digital and print advertising, merchandise, ticketing and sales. The role also required close collaboration with the international and Indonesian programming teams to create, design and communicate the program.  

As a consulting member of the Festival’s management team I was also responsible for advising on all key decisions related to the Festival, and for the wider operations and management of the Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati, the charity organisation that convenes the UWRF and other core community and outreach programs.
